--------------------------------- I got virtually no sleep that night. I tossed and turned endlessly for what seemed like hours. It became so bad that Iric had to take wolf form and sleep beside me. Eventually I succumbed to sleep.
I awoke with a start. I looked around in a panic and realized that I was at the institute. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock. 3:00 am.
I rubbed Iric's furry back. He arose slowly, shook himself (and the bed), then laid his giant wolf head on my lap. I squished my head into the crown of his and grunted.
He let out a very soft scoff, "Early?" I nodded.
